Happy Friday! It’s officially Halloween weekend and pumpkins are everywhere I look! Even Texas is starting to feel a little more like fall!

I love these grey jeans! I went shopping for regular blue jeans this summer and walked away with these! They are perfect for still being casual, but having a bit more of a dressed up look all at the same time, plus just like blue jeans they go with everything! (Except grey, lol). They are also such a great Fall closet staple to have! It tones everything down and really fades into Fall colors or burgundy, rust, and forest green.

My sweet roommate took these photos! Any given day I can come home and some part of our house has been turned into a photography studio! Be sure to check out  and follow her on instagram at @j.lynnephotographyco

Here are 5 easy last minute Halloween costumes:

Rosie the Riveter – Chambray Shirt, Bandana- good to go!

Minion – Yellow shirt, Blur Jean shorts, google eyes out of paper – check!

Burgler – Black and white stripe shirt, Black Jeans, Bag stuffed with Newspaper!

Pippi Longstocking – Pigtail Braids, leggings, frock – cutie!

Classic Cat – Black Top, Black Leggings, paper ears, draw on your face with eyeliner!

What are you wearing for Halloween?

Some background info on me: I love cars. I grew up with a Dad who could name the make, model, and year of any classic car he saw, thus began my affinity. Who would guess that my new Grad school friends would love cars too (although they are on a higher level than me).

This weekend, Leah and I went to the Formula 1 Race in Austin. Formula 1 is world famous (you’ve probably heard of the Monaco Grand Prix, so much hype!). We had the greatest time learning about the track, racing tires, and the drivers! The track is about two miles long and the championship race drives 56 laps. You can literally feel the earth vibrate from the rush of the cars in your chest when they fly pass!

After the race we were allowed on the track and it was such a fun experience! I couldn’t believe the number of people who were clamoring for a piece of tire rubber as a souvenir! Leah, being my main blog photographer had to snap some pics! So I’m sorry for the wind blown hair and the sun glowed faced, it had been a long day!

The race was an amazing new experience (definitely a win) and something to do again in the future as well!

Fall Bucket List

It is no longer 90 degrees here in Texas so it’s officially fall! Although Texas doesn’t get the sweater weather season that other places might, it doesn’t mean we don’t take advantage of fall activities!

I thought it was the perfect time to write down my fall bucket list and share it with you all!
